Note that the following text is from email messages that I, Gabriel Many, have written to various members of my family and some friends following the increase in activity of the volcano Tungurahua, located in the Ecuadorian Andes. I have lived in Salasaca, which is about 15 miles from the volcano, for the last two years. I took the photographs except where otherwise noted.
